Grog's LifeNews Flash! I am now employed after a long vacation. My start date is April 24, 2000. I am a programmer at nline systems. I talked to the trees and they all thought this was a good path for me. I quit my old job late last year and spent 4-5 months doing relatively nothing. The creator wanted me to just sit and watch my toenails grow. Last December I went to a Philosophy 6 class taught by Tom Brown that discussed one wise Native American's approach to touching God. I worked as an electrical engineer, then a programmer, then neither, now I'm a programmer again. Here's my resume. My previous employer is Venable Industries. I was born, raised, educated, not married or bred yet, but have thus far lived in or around Austin, Texas. It's a great place to live, the people are wonderful here. My current hobbies are massage therapy (I'm a registered therapist but I enjoy getting them too), camping, learning wilderness survival skills, eating like a neanderthal, low brow spirituality, walking around Austin, and especially searching for some kind of meaning in this life. I used to go salsa dancing, bicycled more, and was active in Toastmasters. Now I'm opening up my life to allow new hobbies to emerge. Last summer I took a river rafting trip through the Grand Canyon. Hot. Rapids! Water. Cold. Side canyon hikes. Sand. Rocks. Lots of good Grog food. I'm glad I didn't drown or get badly sunburned. It was great. Here's a pic of my friend Marc when he lived up near Washington, DC. He regained some of his senses and moved back to Austin. He lived with me for a few weeks last year, before he moved into his house. Here's a snapshot of my pit on Oct 12, 1997. Buying a hard top for your Jeep Wrangler?
